There's only two weeks to go before "American Idol" season 11 winner is chosen, and the remaining 4 finalists were back on the stage this week to garner fans' votes. Phillip Phillips, Hollie Cavanagh, Joshua Ledet and Jessica Sanchez delivered two individual performances each.

In the first round where the contestants performed songs by Californian artists, Phillip chose to cover "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" by Creedence Clearwater Revival. Randy Jackson called it "sensational" although it started off a little rough. Jennifer Lopez said, "It was perfect," while Steven Tyler commented, "You are living proof that the road to success is always under construction."

Hollie sang "Faithfully" by Journey and Steven praised her song choice which was "over the top." Randy also liked it as he said, "I am so amazed, you came back and you've been slaying us every week, you did Journey proud. Dude, you were right in the zone." J.Lo added, "It makes me feel a little emotional, seeing how much you have grown, I've been waiting to see you sing and it was really very beautiful."

Joshua sang Josh Groban's "You Raise Me Up" and dedicated it to his father. "Everything that you do I am excited to see, you are going to have a gi-normous career," Randy said in his review. J.Lo reminded him to keep consistent until the end, while Steven gushed, "The world is accepting you like nobody's business."

"Steal Away" by Jimmy Hughes was Jessica's choice. Randy and J.Lo praised her vocals with the former adding that she can sing anything. Steven chimed in, "I loved it, you just nailed it, you showed the other side of your voice."

Before moving on to the second round, the four contestants sang in a group of two. After their awkward duet last week, Phillip and Joshua were paired again to sing "This Love" by Maroon 5. They got rave reviews from the judges.

Hollie and Jessica, meanwhile, teamed up to sing "Eternal Flame" by The Bangles. The judges were divided with Randy saying the performance was weird for him. However, J.Lo didn't think it was bad. Steven said, "You didn't sing it like the guys, but you've turned into our favorite swingers."

All four of them then sang in a quartet to deliver a cover of "Waiting for s Girl Like You" by Foreigner.

For the second individual performance, the finalists sang the songs they wish they wrote. Phillip's choice was "Volcano" by Damien Rice. According to Randy, it was one of Phillip's best performances on the whole season. For J.Lo, "it was one of the most beautiful poignant moments ever on 'Idol'."

Hollie's favorite was "Can't Make You Laugh Me" by Bonnie Raitt, but Randy thought the song was "wrong" for her. Steven said, "This song is all about how you can feel the song and I found it fell short." J.Lo pointed out that "there was too much shaking in her vocals."

Joshua once again wowed the judges with his rendition of James Brown's "It's a Man's Man's Man's World". Randy gushed, "If you want to know what singing is all about, just listen to Joshua Ledet," while Steven added, "Neither man nor women have sang that good with such compassion ever on this show, I have never heard anything like that in my life."

Last but not least, Jessica sang "And I'm Not Telling You" by Jennifer Holiday. Randy said the 16-year-old songstress is "phenomenal." Steven said it was "another winning performance," while J.Lo thought "it's going to be a real race to the finish."

On Thursday, May 10 results show, America will send home one of these four contestants to get the final three. Former winner David Cook and judge J.Lo are billed as musical performers.
